While putting together the installation plans, Broder & Sachse Real Estate Owners Representative & Property Manager Max Gordon noticed a DTE electrical easement in the future location of the ramp. Max found that, per DTE Energys guidelines, the easement could not be covered by any structure.Max began to dig deep to uncover a solution. He consulted with the multifamily and development teams posing alternate locations for the ramp. In the end, Max found that in order to keep the buildings historic integrity intact and provide easy access for all, the ramp had to be placed in the alleyway as originally planned.Max gathered important documentation and contacted DTE Energy explaining who the ramp was for, when it had to be installed, where it must be located, and why the ramp was so important. Thanks to Maxs due diligence, the DTE Energy team agreed to Maxs proposal. This agreement solved a huge development issue at The Hamilton while preserving the beautiful historic features of the exterior. 32'
